Research & Educational Methodology
Research Methodology
Research published by The Economic Institute follows established academic standards for economic research. Working papers undergo internal peer review before publication and are subject to external review when submitted to academic journals.
All research publications include full methodological descriptions, data source citations, and reproducibility information where applicable. We encourage and facilitate replication of our published findings.
Educational Methodology
Educational programs are designed using evidence-based pedagogical approaches that emphasise active learning, practical application, and conceptual depth. Each program is structured to build analytical capability progressively, with assessments designed to verify genuine comprehension rather than surface-level familiarity.
Curricula are reviewed annually by subject-matter experts and updated to reflect current developments in economic theory, empirical methods, and real-world applications.
Data Standards
Economic data presented by the Institute is sourced from recognised statistical agencies, international organisations, and central banks. All data is clearly attributed, and methodology notes are provided for any derived or calculated indicators. We do not present data without clear provenance.
